Dark black with some haze and minimal white foam, fresh black currant dominates the aroma, backed by hints of cocoa nib and roasted malt. The flavor follows, with notes of chocolate covered fruit and vanilla.
Blackcurrant Mushhushshu (pronounced moo-shoe-shoe) is a thoughtful blend of dark ales selected from several barrel types and vintages enriched with a generous addition of blackcurrants. The result is an exceptionally complex and chimerical concoction that shimmers with notes of rich toasted malts and tart berries—a rare and majestic beast indeed. Blackcurrant Mushhushshu is a very limited release, available in 500 ml bottles and on draft.
